Why Joint Effort?
I became a physical therapist because I’ve been on the other side of injury myself. As an athlete, I experienced the frustration of repeated setbacks, from ankle sprains on the basketball court to a hip injury I developed while powerlifting, which forced me to rethink how I moved and trained.
Those experiences sparked my interest in rehabilitation and movement quality, not just pain relief. I wanted to understand why injuries happen and how to help people move confidently again.
I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2022 and, since then, I’ve worked as a travel physical therapist in outpatient clinics across the country, treating a wide range of injuries and conditions.
My experience allows me to meet people where they are in their rehabilitation journey. Whether they’re returning to sport, getting back under the bar, or simply trying to move without pain, I provide thoughtful, hands-on care tailored to their goals.
I've found that the most successful rehabilitation is a true Joint Effort between the therapist and patient.
